Legal
acceptable use policy
Last Updated: February 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines the prohibited uses of the hosting services provided by
unOpen.AI (“the Company”). This policy is designed to protect the integrity of our private VPS
infrastructure and the reputation of our network.
1. Security and Ethical Integrity
Because unOpen.AI provides a full sandbox environment, the User is responsible for all activity
originating from their instance. You are strictly prohibited from using your AI agent or the
provided VPS for:
- Unauthorized Access (Hacking): Attempting to gain access to, or probing the
vulnerabilities of, any network, computer system, or database without express authorization.
- Malware Distribution: Hosting, distributing, or executing malicious code,
viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or any software intended to damage or hijack remote systems.
- Denial of Service (DoS): Using the AI instance to launch or participate in
attacks intended to overwhelm or disable third-party services.
2. Prohibited Content and Activity
While we respect user privacy and employ full memory encryption, the following activities are
strictly forbidden and will result in immediate termination if detected or reported:
- Illegal Acts: Any activity that violates local, state, federal, or
international law.
- Fraud & Impersonation: Using AI agents to deceive individuals for financial
gain or to impersonate legal, medical, or government entities.
- Spamming: Using the AI to generate or distribute unsolicited bulk messages
or automated social media "botting" that violates platform terms.
3. System Resource Abuse
To ensure the stability of our private VPS environment for all users, you agree not to engage in
"Resource Exhaustion" tactics, including:
- Crypto-Mining: Using CPU/GPU cycles for mining cryptocurrency.
- Network Flooding: Excessive bandwidth usage that disrupts the unOpen.AI
network backbone.
- Sandbox Escapes: Any attempt to bypass the sandbox environment to access
the host hypervisor or other users' private servers.
4. Zero-Knowledge Compliance
Users acknowledge that because unOpen.AI employs Zero-Knowledge Encryption, we
do not monitor the internal data or "memories" of your AI. However:
- External Reports: If we receive a verified "Abuse Report" or "DMCA
Takedown" from a third party regarding activity originating from your IP address, we reserve
the right to suspend the instance immediately.
- Self-Induced Damage: If your AI downloads malicious software that harms its
own sandbox or makes the instance unstable, unOpen.AI is not obligated to recover or repair
the corrupted data.
5. Enforcement and Termination
Violation of this AUP may result in:
- Immediate suspension of the hosted AI instance.
- Permanent termination of the account without a refund.
- Reporting to law enforcement if the activity involves clear criminal intent
(subject to our Privacy Policy and legal requirements).
